Terms and Conditions

These Rental Decor Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") are entered into by and between the renter ("Client") and Ivory Events LLC ("Ivory Events") for the rental of event decoration items.

By entering into this Agreement, the Client agrees to the following terms and conditions:
1. Rental Period:
The rental period will begin on the specified start date and will conclude on the specified end date as outlined in the rental agreement. The Client is responsible for returning all rented items in the same condition they were received within the agreed-upon timeframe.
2. Rental Payment:
Client agrees to pay the specified rental fees as outlined in the invoice provided by Ivory Events. Payment is due in full before or on the rental start date. Late payments may be subject to additional fees.
3. Security Deposit:
A security deposit may be required by Ivory Events to cover any potential damages, losses, or late returns. This deposit will be refunded to the Client within a reasonable time after the rented items are returned in satisfactory condition.
4. Care of Rental Items:
The Client agrees to use and care for the rented items with reasonable diligence. This includes protecting items from damage, loss, theft, or misuse. If any items are damaged, lost, or stolen, the Client is responsible for covering the repair or replacement costs as determined by Ivory Events.
5. Rental Condition:
All rented items are provided in good condition and will be inspected by the Client upon receipt. Any concerns about the condition of the items must be reported to Ivory Events immediately. The Client is responsible for returning the items in the same condition as received.
6. Cancellation and Refunds:
Cancellation terms are specified in the rental agreement. The Client may be eligible for a refund or partial refund, subject to the terms of the cancellation policy. Rental fees are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated in the rental agreement.
7. Delivery and Return:
Delivery and return logistics will be agreed upon by the Client and Ivory Events. The Client is responsible for ensuring that someone is present to accept the delivery and return of items at the specified locations, on the agreed-upon dates and times.
For each day that a rental item is not returned past the due date, a late fee of 35% of the daily rental rate will be charged, up to a maximum of the total replacement cost of the item. A one-hour grace period is provided. After the grace period, late fees will be calculated based on each 24-hour period the item is late.
8. Liability:
Ivory Events shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damages or losses that may arise due to the use of rented items. The Client assumes all responsibility for the use, storage, and handling of the rental items.
9. Governing Law:
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee.
10. Entire Agreement:
This Agreement represents the entire understanding between the Client and Ivory Events regarding the rental of decor items and supersedes any prior agreements or understandings.
